devastated, i am...

It was a heartbreaking 15 seconds for Felipe Massa as his joy turned to despair after knowing that Timo Glock has let Sebastien Vettel and eventual winner Lewis Hamilton pass him at the final corner of the Brazilian GP. in the pictures of the TV, they showed both Massa and Hamilton camps jumping for joy after both cars have crossed the finish line but when the news came up, the faces on Massa camp supporters turned from what we know as joy, to unbelievable despair. if Hamilton didn't move up a spot, the total points from both drivers will be tied, BUT Massa will win it as he has more victories throughout the season compared to Hamilton.

the Brazilian GP was no short of drama; coming from the drivers and also the weather. it can be summed up that it was raining at the beginning and the end of the race. and in between, saw drivers making awesome and crazy maneuvers. it was a sad farewell for David Coulthard as he was bundled out in the first 100s of kilometers into the race. Sebastien Vettel at one point thought he could have bundled out Hamilton's championship chances after Robert Kubica's out-of-his-mind overtaking move, cutting pass Vettel and also Hamilton, which eventually forced Hamilton to make a mistake going wide at the corner. by the way, Kubica was a lap down from the front runners he overtook... that's why i said out-of-his-mind. =O)

all in all, Massa accepted the defeat like a professional and mature driver. Hamilton on the other hand would thank his lucky stars for Glock's decision of not pitting when supposed to. i have to admit, it was a fantastic race, Massa leading from start to end from P1, out-of-this-world maneuvers and also a finale too grand to be missed.
