Singapore & Such

im still delighted at my feat in my previous post. so, please dont blame me. it was my first time. LOL!

anyway, i recently went to Singapore for my Granny's birthday and i had a blast snapping pictures like there is no tomorrow. in my Granny's words... i SNAPPED the WHOLE of SINGAPORE. oh yes... everywhere i go, in and out of the house i will be with my camera. since they lived in a condo, the view was fantastic at the 10th floor. took a tripod and started snapping landscape and panorama shots. i cant help it. in total... i think i snapped almost 4GB of photos! and that is around 700 shots in just 4 days. it may not sound many but some might ask, what the heck did you photograph?!?!? well, jingle bells are round the corner... and YES, Christmas decorations! Singapore is pretty famous for that especially in Orchard Road. and i was exactly there!

though it was raining, it didnt dampen my hope of snapping photos. equipped with an umbrella and a tripod, drizzling rain is no problem. yes, my camera got wet, but not that wet. its still working though. the lights along the Orchard Road stretch were fantastic. with bright and colorful lights from Tang's, Atria, Takashimaya, Paragon, Shaw House, Wheelock and many others, the whole road was consistently jammed and slow as many of these drivers were busy admiring the lights from inside the car.

VIVO CITY; Singapore's latest shopping attraction was one of my destination as well. this new shopping centre is huge! with playgrounds and waterparks (mini one) similar of that at KLCC, it is considered as a major attraction for families and big groups of people. with the view of the Bridge leading to Sentosa and a river (i think), sunset was good. though it was drizzling (again), i was out there snapping up the landscape and architecture of Vivo City.

will be posting up the pictures SOON... in Flickr, of course. Facebook & Multiply will have pictures as well but not many. majority of my pictures will definitely be in Flickr. so please do visit my Flickr site yea!

well, dinner for my Granny was fantastic! all of us were dining at Crystal Jade Restaurant in IMM, Jurong and the 6 or 8 course meal was GoooOOOOOOoood! if im not mistaken, they have one in Malaysia as well right? hmmm, need those food craze and critiques to answer the question for me now. anyway, we had some soup for starters, lobster, fish, duck, prawn, vege, chicken and also dessert. i think there are more but i dont remember. the fish was mighty fine and fresh! really mouth watering dishes were served. dinner was EXQUISITE; enough said.

then we headed home for the birthday cake and some sing-a-long session. had some mango cream or something cake. was good. the whole time i was just looking at my granny's face; what i saw was happiness, pure happiness. the delight can be seen through her eyes throughout the whole night. i am personally very happy i was there for such a precious moment.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRAMPS!

well, aside from the birthday and also the photo snapping sessions... i also went SHOPPING! hahahaha! oh yes... only got myself a couple of stuffs; socks, food, an american football toy and the ultimate LACOSTE shoes! haha! yea, its an evil laugh! hahaha! its the usual WHITE with GREEN trimmings. thats my CNY shoes! yeay! got it from Queensway Shopping Center, the haven for sports stuffs! best place to find all sports related equipments with further reductions compared to shopping malls and department stores. so, head down there to get yourself the latest Nike Air Force Ones' or even Adidas' latest designs!

*** Hop on the MRT; stop at Queenstown MRT stop. exit and take a left down the stairs to the bus stop located a stone's throw in front. hop on the 195 (i think, lol) bus that cost SGD1. once you see Ikea on the left, press the bell at the traffic lights in front. Queensway SC is on your right, at the corner of the cross junction. cross the road or take the overhead bridge to get across the road. enter the shopping center and knock yourself out with choices! get the best bargains! dont be fooled, walk around and scout. dont just settle for one shop, there are many of them! best of luck then! ***

thats Singapore for 4 days and 3 nights for me. Shop, Snap, Saviour & Selebrate (lol)

p/s- i am gonna be there again for CNY... any orders? hehehehe....
